Raging Waters Los Angeles Celebrates 40 Years of Fun with the Debut of Pulse-Pounding Plunge Ride, Bombs Away

[San Dimas, CA, May 15, 2023] – Raging Waters Los Angeles, California's largest water park, is opening its 40^th summer season on Saturday, May 20 with a splash, debuting the highly-anticipated, pulse-pounding plunge ride Bombs Away. A summer tradition since 1983, the iconic water park will also be offering several events throughout the season celebrating the “40 Years of Fun” monumental anniversary.

For the first time ever, visitors can pick their thrill with 300 feet of soaking, screaming fun on Bombs Away, the all-new dual drop slide at Raging Waters. Sliders will step into enclosed capsules when the floor beneath their feet abruptly vanishes and drops them down into two unique experiences – a straight-speed six-story, 70 degree AquaDrop where sliders will reach speeds of up to 30 feet per second, or a twisting, turning loop through a closed-tube 325-foot-long fly-by at similarly supersonic speeds.

The largest water park in California is kicking off 40 years of fun with a season-full of activities including the annual Father’s Day Flop on June 18, and the all-new Pirate Days Treasure Hunt, taking place September 9, 16, & 23 featuring exciting prizes and a whole lot more.

This year’s season will begin on Saturday, May 20 and will run through September 24. Season Passes are available now, offering visitors unlimited visits all summer long with exclusive benefits starting at just $99. Starting May 17- 29, visitors can save up to 50% when they buy more than four tickets.
